Is there a way to do this training without a prong collar? I redirect and the dog just pulls in that direction. Every video I’ve seen with this technique works in the video. For me, nothing has worked when I do it.

Is a prong collar a must or could a slip leash do the trick as well?

Definitely trying this with my 8 month old pup. I’m having a really hard time on walks. He also thinks it’s funny to chase cars. Every time we are on a walk and a car passes by he wants to chase! Ugh! I will be implementing these techniques .

I was searching for videos like these after being very frustrated with my dog during walks. He would pull me all the time and I tried just standing still, but it did not work however much I tried. I then tried your u-turn method and it worked! Had to give him 2 hard pulls but after that he was very attentive and paying attention to me! Thank you so very much, it really helps enjoying walking the dog rather than being pulled around😂

When popping the collar, how do you determine how much popp to give? Ive got a 25lb pomski and i dont want to hammer her as much as thannos or drax, but i do wanna make sure its effective

I tried this on my 4-month-old Doberman puppy who pulled like a freight train. I'm always skeptical of video or on-line fixes, but I have to admit that this really worked. It's a joy to have him walking at my side now.

Is this The Thanos? He was a client's dog and got surrendered or needed a better handler all together? That's awesome whatever was the reason that he was able to get him to be so good

What if they don't eat treats outside house 🤣🤣🤣 not even premium stake. It like he knew it was to correct him. Very good dog except pulling and recall not the best. Maybe use the lead on collar like you and not hooked harness?

Yanking on a dog's neck like that is not a very smart thing to do it could cause a lot of internal damage there's other ways of getting around it I've done it for 45 years

Looks effective I’m keen to try. What type of lead or does it not matter? Can I just clip the lead onto her collar or will the quick yank damage her neck?
