My dog is a rescue dog, 11 months old, new to me. When he wants to play, it's all about biting. Will try you method.

Ouch ouch my dog keeps on biting me all the time but I watched your video and it teach my dog not to bite anything else except her her toys Now she doesn't bite my hand and now she just gives me her toy back so that I can give her to bite it thanks for teaching me how to teach her not to bite Thanks now we might not have to give my dog away cause my parents are thinking to give it away but I teach too now I just have to keep on doing the same thing every day so she remembers not to bite me thanks

My Belgian Malinois is 1 year old and she definitely knows that her bite does damage. She attacks me if I try to take my sock away from her.
Your dog is ultra-mild compared to mine. Do you have any suggestions for a dog that is an actual problem?

Any advice for me training 3 pups at the same time? It's easy if the other 2 are sleeping and I can focus on one but all 3 of them ends up breaking in a full biting play and I end up being a collateral damage

I was heavily playing with my Shepsky and she bit my arm pretty good. It wasn’t aggression/it was aggression but in play. Nobody talks about that.

(what should I do?! I don't want to hit him again) I try to stop him buy saying "stop! No!" And I did try to do collar thing then he put something from ground probably plastic or something he doesn't has to eat I put my fingers in his jaw usually where they don't have teeth but he bite on my other palm so badly I hit him and now I am feeling guilty but without hitting I try to put him in washroom that he can stay alone and see that he is wrong but when I pet him and then when he was free he came back and bite on my mom's feet or mine and run

I couldn't tell on the video, when you put on the black training collar, did you attach the red pull leash to it or leave it attached to the green collar

My new English Mastiff puppy named "Ruff" looks just like Burley. We are sucessfully working through pupoy biting right now. The tough part for me is I broke my arm the same week I got the puppy.

I tried doing all of that, and she is still a little devil. She has bitten everyone in my family viciously. You could be sitting on a chair minding your own business, and she comes right at your hand and bites it. She won't let anyone near her because if you try to approach her, she turns into the devil and attacks you. I am so frustrated with myself that I cannot stop her from biting any of us. 😢😢😢😢

Well my puppy never sits still like the puppy in the video. She is always jumping on us or biting and nipping.
When I use a leash she will growl and bite the leash when I pull it.
Somehow she always wants to bite my 16yo daughter who is now scared and I have to do all training by myself due to that.
Our puppy is 12,5 weeks and has been corrected from 8 weeks when she first arrived. She gets overexcited very quickly.

Just got a Malinois mix rescued from the street that is about 6-8 months old. Still very much a puppy, but she learned very quickly to run away if I reached for the leash tab. And then she just runs back in a drive by biting.

This is great, how about tiny puppies like Pomeranian who have danger of trachea collapse? It’s easier to do on bigger puppies.

Our is 6 months old. He knows what leave it means but he wants to be chased. So he grabs anything and everything he knows hes not to have. If we dont see him grab it he actually comes to us and runs away. Our trainer said do not follow but to get him to come to us with the item in exchange for a treat. That is NOT working. He will not come. He will stand there with the item, chewing it, and run if he thinks we will attempt to take it from us. He will not bring it to us for a full size weiner lol. I walk him 2-3x a day for about 30mins each time plus I take him to the outdoor skating rink where he and I play with a big ball so that he can run out his energy. We do this 1-2x a day. Sometimes this is prt of a walk since we liver near by. Any suggestions? Id never get close to that mini leash if he has something

Thanks for this! I can’t tell you how many times I have said “ouch” and turn my back on my pup as suggested by many other professionals just for him to keep biting or how many times I offer him one of his own toys instead of the undesired object just for him to completely ignore me. THIS seems more effective. He does great with cues once he associates them with positive or negative consequences so “leave it” will be much more meaningful now! Thank you!!

What if you're older puppy (like 9 months) continues to bite the leash / tab leash? (Do they make tab leashes out of something a dog can't bite through?

I have a small 2 1/2 pound Yorkie. is there an alternative as opposed to placing the items that you showed around the neck of small dogs since they have very fragile tracheas.
