He got a nose full of shit today. Its been 3 months. I've trained dogs for 20 plus years.
Now he's down to a kennel that used to be his comfy space.
I took the bed.
I took the water and food at a certain time.
Some dogs are untrainable.
We have to accept that.
Excitement is one thing…when I've had him out of the house for 6 hours and he immediately shits in the kennel or house…nah.

Im not gonna put my dog inja jail cell when he does nothing wrong inside other than crapping, because he gets excited hes going out, other times he has to go so he goes. 4 years hes been fully pottty trained hopusebroken whatever ….. now on any givin day when I get home I may have brown skint on my sheets, then tracked across the bed & pillow, then onto the floor, then my bloodpressure explodes in a mental rage, very unsafe, Ive tried positive reincforcement dozens of times, if not more ,…. Yet sometimes I wakeup & theres 4-5 turds on my bed that Im sleeping on so I have to get up at 3am & strip the bed while my brain is ready to explode in anger, then lay back down & sleep & get up for work in a few hours. .,.. For a week hes done bettter, no me=sses when I comew home, no accidents ….. till yesterday …. apperently he crapped on the bed as he was heaqded towards the hallway where theres a towel for accidents … then he stepps in it & tracks it., … 10 years ago had this little poddle, he'd get so excited that were going outside hed instantly start peeing. …. arranged it for my mom to take him, same issue … Now this dog doesnt pee inside, just craps when he needs to go , ….so I cut back on food, works someetimes, but few tiomes a week, Im washing poop sheets & steam cleaning the carpet again. … the result I have to be mad for 3-4 hours at him & ignore him for the most part, only feeding him & clean water but no attention, then I get over it. …It shopuldnt be this way, I saved him 5 years ago wanted to give him a good life, yet he seeing my ugly side regularly & I hate it. … SURELY somene else out there has a dog that craps when he gets excited? or cant seem to understand you dont crap in the house.

If the dog pooped his stomach is empty, he will probably not poop again until he eats something.

Yeah right I have two Yorkies’s they are train but they think they just starting again to poop and pee inside again even if we walk them or take them outside they have a mind of their own

Take them out as much as possible. Remove all carpet and rugs from home. Then put a couple of spray bottles with pine soul, and rubber gloves and towels around the house. Cleaning up and washing cloths out in sink.

Well my dog is 16years old in human years so she’s forgotten what training is at this point.
Im dealing with a 10month old doberman who was always potty trained,until the last 2 weeks. Instead of waking me up thru the night hes going in my hallway. I always praised him for waking me up. He knows its wrong to go inside because ive let him know its wrong. Also he knows because he looks guilty when I wake up and see him. Hes got a great life and has always had all hes needs met everyday. I honestly think its spite because he cant sleep in my bed with me

My dog raises his paws when he wants to pee. I would image it would scratch the door to pee outside, but it doesn't. He just raises his front paws! It's crazy. I thought it just wanted affection when he does that.

That was honestly the most worthless advice about potty training a dog.

None of his advice works if your taking your dog out to poop, and he refuses to poop until after you've already taken him back inside. I've waited outside with my dog for 30 min, and he still waited until we were back inside.
He lost me when to correct marking but not the peeing and pooping.
